6-year Medicine and 5-year Dentistry Undergraduate courses

Application Procedure: Dentistry: Complete M&D Application, complete interview, receive an offer. Medicine: Complete M&D Application, complete entrance exam, receive an offer.
Entrance Requirements: To have completed secondary school education achieving top grades in at least 2 science subjects.
Conditions of transfer: In certain circumstances, applicants who have completed sufficient studies in medical sciences may be exempted from the first or second year. This may be considered only if places are available in those years and the applicant has sufficient Spanish language ability that would have otherwise been attained had the student started from the first year.
Application deadline: Currently taking applications for 2012 entry - Medicine and Dentistry. No deadline set.
No entrance examination is required for dentistry applications, however interviews are usually conducted in Central London

6-year Medicine undergraduate course

4-year Medicine graduate course
With sunshine galore and exquisite beaches this is the perfect destination to compliment stressful study time with relaxation.
Application Procedure: Complete M&D Application; send University transcripts for evaluation; complete telephone interview.
Entrance Requirements: To have completed a medicine related degree covering the subjects, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, Biology, English and Maths, or to have successfully completed the M&D Pre-Med. There are no entrance examinations.
Application Deadline: There is no deadline, but instead there is a rolling intake in January, May and August.
Fees per semester:
Pre-Clinical Years on the Cayman Islands (5 semesters in total) - $8,900 per semester (approximately £5930)
Clinical Years in UK or U.S.A (5 semesters in total) - $9,950 per semester (approximately £6630)
Undergraduate or Graduate Entry, UK
There are a number of medical and dental schools in the UK who consider graduates with a good science degree. The M&D Premed may provide a pathway to graduate entry to medicine as students who successfully complete the programme may then continue onto the 1st or 2nd year of a 3-year Bsc. (Honours) degree.
Typical progression route degree after completion of the M&D Pre-Med are:

Therefore, the M&D Pre-Med year can be used as a pathway for direct entry to a 5-year undergraduate course in medicine or dentistry at a UK medical school and also a route to a Bsc. degree, without losing a year of study.
Undergraduate or Graduate Entry, UK
This is undoubtedly the preferred option for most students. For this reason, there is a special focus on preparing each student’s UCAS application form in the optimum way.
Competition for places on all Medicine and Dentistry degree courses in the UK is very intense. Consequently, it is not possible to give a guarantee that you will gain entry to a UK medical or dental school. However, we offer what is arguably the best and possibly the only way to secure a place at a medical or dental school hopefully in the UK, and if not, overseas. The M&D Pre-Med programme is unique and effective as it offers our successful students several windows of opportunity to continue their studies.
Some UK medical schools are very positive about the Pre-Med, while others have varying attitudes to non-standard applications. Some will only consider A-levels passed at high grades at the first attempt and some require specific grades in school leaving examinations as well as the M&D Pre-Med.
Remember that it is individual students who are considered and admitted, so your UCAS application and personal statement will always be really crucial to create a good first impression.

Most students on the M&D Pre-Med programme had been unsuccessful in their initial applications to a UK medical or dental school. Many of these have gone on to secure an offer of a place at their second or even third attempts. However, the M&D Pre-Med Programme should not be regarded as a route solely designed for gaining entry to a UK medical or dental school. We like students to be open to the possibility of studying outside the UK for at least part of their medical or dental degrees. Our step-by-step approach from the initial stages of considering medicine or dentistry as a career, through UCAS personal statement guidance, and medical mock interview sessions on a leading university campus, to UKCAT and BMAT preparation, and help with obtaining relevant work experience has proved to be a winning formula which helps are students reach their full potential.

1-year Pre-medical/dental programme
Held in the heart of London, students have access to a number of academic institutions and materials to help them in their pursuit of medicine/dentistry. London also provides a non-stop night life for party animals.
Application Procedure: Complete M&D Application, receive offer. If a student does not get into the M&D Pre-Med they may be given the opportunity to study on the M&D Foundation.
Entrance Requirements: To have achieved B,C,C at A-Level standard or equivalent with at least two if the subjects being science based.

Entrance Requirements: Candidates are usually expected to have at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent, however applications are reviewed on an individual case-by-case basis.
